5 Ways to Have a Better Life

Wednesday, January 29, 2014

1. Experience the world - Go out there and see what the world has to offer. View new places, learn about other cultures, taste a food you've never tried. Step out of your comfort zone.

2. Eat breakfast - Breakfast is extremely important to your vitality and everyday health. It keeps you energized and motivated to get you through a long day at school, a hard day at the office or a rough day taking care of the kids.

3. Go outside - I realize not everywhere is as sunny as California in winter time, but you should still go outside. Feel the frigid air on your skin. Nature is beautiful. Can you see it?

4. Show your love - Never be ashamed to love someone. It's actually an honor to find a person who you care so deeply about. Let them in. Express your feelings through positive actions.

5. Always explore - If you're bored, you're doing something wrong, my friend. Life ought to be constant adventure and learning experience. Read a book in Spanish. Take a really long hike. Cook a simple dinner.

Find Me in San Francisco

Tuesday, January 21, 2014

Oh San Francisco, a beautiful city with delicious food, history, culture, & sights to see. I've been to this majestic city multiple times throughout my life. I road tripped to San Francisco with my boyfriend.

It went a little something like this:
+ a long & lovely stroll through Golden Gate Park
+ lunch at The Sandwich Place
+ viewing the Conservatory of Flowers & the butterflies
+ seeing the seals at Pier 39
+ hoofing it throughout the city
+ dinner at Lori's Diner
+ learning how to use the BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit)
+ brunch at Eddie's Cafe
+ walking around Fisherman's Wharf
+ pursuing Chinatown (which is the largest Chinatown outside of Asia!!)

I visited the fine city in spring 2018 because my sister graduated from the University of California, Berkeley. We flew up there to attend her graduation, explore Berkeley & San Francisco.

My feet got tired. I fell asleep instantly at night despite the buzz of the city at night.  Here's a photo montage of my stay in this beautiful city.
