Christmas in California is a beautiful sight. The sun is shining. The temperatures are gentle. The leaves gracefully tumble to the ground. It truly is a wonderful time of year. We had a little bit of rain but not too much. Absolutely no snow. If there were snow, you'd know something is terribly wrong. Everyone else is probably experiencing frigid temperatures by now, but all you need here is a sweater maybe some leggings & you're good to go as far as the winter chill. These are photos of Christmas time in California as I see it. Be it the dainty string of colorful Christmas lights or the glowing pastel painted sunset near the ocean, this is Christmas in Southern California.
Remember: we all go through struggles. We have those ups & downs. Those people who seem to have it after us. Those times when everything is terrible. Pick yourself up out of that funk. Grab a coffee. Go for a walk. Phone a friend. Nobody can change your attitude but you. Enjoy the little things. The beauty of the every day. Enjoy the season, the festivities, & the love.
What does your Christmas look like? What's your favorite thing about this time of year? Which photograph is your favorite? Please let me know. :]

These photos are awesome! We were living in California earlier this year, but we left right before we would get to experience a Christmas there. It's like an entirely different world than what I would be used to!
ReplyDeleteThat's very likely. No need for parkas here. :]
DeleteLovely photos!
ReplyDeleteThe best way I can describe Christmas weather here is rain and wind hehe! If we get snow it normally turns up at the end of January / beginning of February hehe
Well that's nice! At least it's not completely frozen .:]
DeleteOhh wow. Talk about stunning photographs! Totally envious. Love your boots too!

Nice catch. Thanks Annablel. :]
DeleteI love all the photos, my favorite is the empty pool. I could see that in a NYLON-type magazine. And for some reason it remind me of a Lana Del Rey music video lol.
ReplyDeleteChristmas is my favorite time of year, and I'm always excited to see how cities all around decorate. I'm home in Atlanta for the holidays, but back in Vegas where I am normally the decorations are out of control, especially in the hotels on the strip.

Oh yeah I bet! Actually, I've been to Vegas near Christmastime & yes, it's somehow more sparkly & upbeat than usual! :D

Think about Christmas in Australia! It's summertime. I never thought about a beach Christmas. Hehe. :p
DeleteThat looks lovely! I'm kinda used to cold weather and snow, and when i moved to Houston and the Middle East I was really worried I wouldn't get into the holiday spirit without it, but all the decorations made up for it! Love being back in the cold and snow now though :)
ReplyDeleteThe snow & cold absolutely solidify the Christmasy-ness of it all. :]
