Soothe App Event in San Diego
Hey all! I hope you're having a wonderful day. I was invited last Wednesday to attend a Soothe App event in San Diego at the Union Cowork. Soothe is a phone application where massages are delivered to you anywhere you want.
Soothe is basically like the Uber for massage therapy. They come to you. All therapists are licensed & background checked. Available 7 days a week -- 9 a.m. to midnight, including holidays. Their website claims they can be there in an hour or you can schedule in advance. Prices range from $99 for 60 minutes up to $169 for two hours.
I was invited to a VIP influencer event so I took my boyfriend to see what it was all about. The office space was open, slightly hipster with lots of wood, bohemian wall hangings, & concrete floors. They had some snacks to munch on like veggies, hummus, pita chips, & a colorful display of fruit. There was also random selection of wine & beer.
It was fun to connect with other influencers in the San Diego area. Some were journalists, writers, Instagrammers, bloggers, & what have you. We chatted, exchanged business cards, asked questions. Food, drinks, live music, like-minded people, my darling boyfriend by my side. What more could I ask for?
I thoroughly adored my mini massage!
How does the Soothe App sound to you? Do you like the concept? Oh & hey, let me know which photo is your favorite. :]

These all look really nice. I super want to go to more blogger events but there's just never any on around here! The closest maybe would be at least 2 hours away but there's still hardly any.

Hopefully you find some in your area soon! :]
DeleteI loved how honest you where in this review. I definitely agree that $99 is a lot to fork over for a massage, even though I think that's how much they usually run for. I do like the idea and could use a massage every so often, though, so I might look into getting the app once I'm in a different income bracket. :D
