5 Things I'm Loving Right Now ♥
How's your January going? This is the last 5 Things I'm Loving Right Now ♥ for the month, so it gives me a moment to reflect. Overall, January has been quite kind to me. I admit that I wrote "2015" on paper several times; I question when I'll figure out it's actually 2016. I've been going hard at work & on my blog, consistently trying to up my social media strategy & knowledge. I'm working on a couple new Social Media Basics posts for you guys, so stay tuned for that. Until then, browse through what I'm loving right now to keep you occupied!
Latte Art - Sometimes you have to stop by a mom & pop shop to get a good coffee. I like to bring my laptop & maybe my boyfriend or a girlfriend & just get some work done. Latte art simply adds to the experience. However, I often feel bad slurping it up since it ruins the art. Oh the dilemmas of life & lattes.
Glamping Hub* - Vacations are seriously one of life's best things, so I'm excited to have a stay in one of Glamping Hub's California Getaways locations. There are several tempting options like a bed & breakfast in Joshua Tree, a cozy cabin in Yosemite, or even a tent & tipi in Lake Tahoe. Now I just have to narrow it down. I'm excited for a mini vacation! Now if only it came with a massage...

"Winter" - I am liberal with my usage of the word "winter" in Southern California, but I've enjoyed the slightly chilly temperatures here. Every morning when I get up, I have the opportunity to actually wear a jacket or coat or some type of layering garment. It makes me incredibly happy. I'm aware I talk about the weather & the temperature a lot, but bear in mind this is as good as it gets here (as far as winter is concerned).
Anniversary - The boyfriend & I celebrated our three year anniversary! We are just as in love as ever, if not more. We've reached a level of understanding about each other's personality, dreams, goals, insecurities, & all that relationship jazz. It's been a good three years & I look forward to many more! Woo!

DeleteHow good is the Making a Murderer series. My boyfriend watched most of it and then I watched the last two episodes with him, but even just those to had me so into it! I need to go back and watch the others, but it's just insane!
ReplyDeleteIt's WAY good. You have to watch the others, especially since the last two just summarize it. :]
DeleteVery nice photos) Have a nice day!

DeleteI love Latte Art, I took a coffee making course and attempted to make latte art but discovered it was a lot harder than I thought it would be. Congratulations on your anniversary too!
ReplyDeleteSally ~ DiagonSally
That's so cool. I can only imagine how hard creating latte art would be. :]
DeleteI really enjoyed watching Making a Murderer as well, though as you said it definitely did leave me spinning with emotions. After the last episode especially, I really didn't know how to feel. Also, congratulations on your three year anniversary :)
ReplyDeletewww.thesundaymode.blogspot.com.au
I still don't know how to feel, especially since there's no way to know what really happened! >.<
DeleteI also love latte art! I used to work as a barista and done some training in it. Although I'm probably a little rusty at it now haha. Also, congratulations on yours and your boyfriends' anniversary, that's so lovely.:D

Thank you!! Haha, as long as the puddle of caffeine tastes good. :]
DeleteI need to check out that Glamping website! It sounds absolutely amazing and I've been dying to go to Yosemite soon! Congrats on your anniversary! 3 years is a huge deal but I'm glad you two are doing better than ever :) Also, I have to tell you that Making a Murderer sucked up 10 hours of my life as well... I only started watching it because everyone was talking about it, and then my boyfriend and I got totally sucked in as well XD It's SO INTERESTING!!! Have you seen all of the "hidden" confession tapes all over the internet now with Brendan and the fiancee?? I'm going to need a second season... ASAP!
ReplyDeleteHope you're enjoying your weekend :)

I haven't done much research after-the-fact. No matter how many conspiracy theories, tapes, etc. I don't think there's a 100% clear verdict. :]
DeleteNice photos, I love Latte art as well it makes the coffee looks even more delicious.

DeleteMaking a Murderer is so amazing, isn't it? I watched it all last weekend not having planned to watch more than a couple of episodes but after each one ended I would tell myself: one more! Ha ha.

I know the feeling. We would watch a couple episodes each night, then have to go to sleep because we work early in the morning. We'd just countdown to when we could watch it again. :]
DeleteI love Latte art, it's so pretty!
ReplyDeleteHave a nice week!

Happy Sunday! :]
DeleteJoshua Tree is on my list of places to go (also, California in general is also on the list..)! I may be the only person out there who actually loves winter and all that comes with it. I love the snow, the cold (to a point) and the big marshmallow jackets that we get to wear (especially here in Manitoba). So, I guess that is something that I have been loving this month- winter!
ReplyDeleteAlso, congratulations on three years together! :)
Take care,
C | http://atlantic-c.blogspot.ca/
I have minimal experience with the snow but I totally agree about marshmallow jackets. :]
DeleteCongrats on your anniversary! Also, glamping rules.

ReplyDeleteThanks so much! I really appreciate it. :]
DeleteCute list! You´re so lucky living in southern California, in Norway we swing a bit due to global warming, but we hold a 18 - C or -0.4000000 Farenheit most of the time, so just throwing on a jacket seems delightful right now, haha! xx
ReplyDeleteKinkx
I see there you have a great winter, here in Ukraine is too cold and so many ice outside!;(
ReplyDeleteLovely list! I've always wanted to camp in Joshua Tree - perhaps glamping is the way to go!

Glad you have these things that you love, to me I would have loved winter in California, because these days the winter in Egypt has been brutal.
