Hello, hello! How was your week? Mine was...speedy. I've been going on more walks, & I adore seeing the irresistible beauty that is Southern California on a much more regular basis. The temperatures have warmed up but sometimes the weather likes gifting us with a few minutes of fleeting heavy rain. Make up your mind, San Diego! Now that it's Friday, I'll kick off my shoes, enjoy some grocery shopping, & then get ready for a weekend in San Clemente. PARTY! Here's what I'm loving this week:

carlsbad, california

Whether I'm heading to a beautiful Carlsbad event while simultaneously getting great photos to use across my social media channels or going on a walk while dictating a blog post, productivity is an excellent feeling. I'm not sure if this is deemed as productivity or multitasking or even a little bit of both, but it's still a good feeling altogether.

Free Flowers

You may have read about my really cool free flowers adventure earlier this week. To sum it up, I found two ridiculously large & utterly gorgeous flower arrangements by the dumpster. Someone thoughtfully left the arrangements in sight without making me climb inside. I ended up swooping them both. They're sitting beautifully on the counter as we speak, wilting away slowly.

breaking bad

Breaking Bad

Yes, I know I'm extremely late on the Breaking Bad train, but that isn't going to stop me. You guys should know by now I'm a bit of a Netflix fiend. My boyfriend & I finished our Gilmore Girls rendezvous & deliberated long & hard on what to queue up next. We're currently on season two episode six of Breaking Bad.

My boyfriend turned 27 last week, & it was a mind-boggling experience considering I've known him since he was 17. It's crazy how so much time has passed, but it's more interesting to look at the progress, the growth, the knowledge, & the experiences acquired throughout all that time. We've both grown a lot as human beings & as a couple.

As a vegetarian, it seems like a weird juxtaposition to even attempt to eat sushi since the whole premise is fish or raw fish, but that doesn't stop me. It's basically a hobby to find vegetarian-friendly sushi. I picked up the Avocado, Cream Cheese, & Cucumber Roll, the Vegetarian Rancho Roll (avocado, cream cheese, fried in tempura batter topped with spicy mayo, jalapeno, & Sriracha), & the Vegetable Tempura from Tabu Sushi Bar & Grill. My favorite was the Vegetarian Rancho Roll. Yummm.

What are you loving right now? Anything from my list? :]
