Dole Whip at Disneyland: Where to Buy, Price, and More

If there’s one sweet treat that’s practically a rite of passage at Disneyland Resort, it’s the chilly DOLE Whip. That cool pineapple-soft-serve is part dessert, part sunshine, part “yes, I’m on vacation” moment. Whether you’re chasing a toddler, waddling with a baby bump, or just craving a break from churros, this snack deserves its own stop.

What is DOLE Whip?

DOLE Whip started life as a pineapple-flavored soft-serve dessert, developed by the Dole Food Company in the early 1980s.
Here are some fun facts:

  • It debuted at Magic Kingdom Park (Florida) in 1984 and made its way to Disneyland Park in Anaheim in 1986. It was originally served as vanilla soft serve with pineapples on top!

  • It’s vegan, dairy-free, and gluten-free (at least in its core form) — pretty rare for theme-park treats.

  • The Dole Whip flavor most people associate with it is “pineapple,” but now you’ll find occasional variations like mango, strawberry, or even seasonal swirls at Disneyland. In short: it’s not just ice cream. It’s a pineapple soft-serve legend.

Where to Buy Dole Whip at Disneyland Resort

Lucky you — you don’t have to hunt terribly far. Here are the top spots in the Anaheim, California resort where you can grab one:

Tiki Juice Bar (Adventureland, Disneyland Park)

The classic kiosk just outside the Enchanted Tiki Room. The menu lists DOLE Whip Soft Serve (pineapple) and DOLE Whip Float (pineapple juice + soft serve).

Tropical Hideaway (also Adventureland, Disneyland Park)

This newer spot offers extra flavors and swirls, including strawberry/mango combos, “float” versions, and limited-time twists.

Tangaroa Terrace Tropical Bar & Grill (Disneyland Hotel, just outside parks)

Great if you’re staying on-site or want a break from the park crowd and still want DOLE Whip without a park ticket.

How Much Does It Cost (Late 2025 Update)

Let’s talk dollars. As you know, snack pricing shifts faster than rides get refurbished — but as of late 2025:

  • Basic DOLE Whip soft serve at Tiki Juice Bar: around $7.29, not including taxes.

  • DOLE Whip Float (pineapple juice + soft serve): around $7.99. (Disneyland Resort)

  • Some of the more elaborate swirls/limited-time flavors at Tropical Hideaway go up to $9.29 or so. For example, the seasonal Pineapple Upside Down Sundae DOLE Whip was $9.29 as of November 2025.

  • Note: Price jumps have been happening, though, which is an increase from $6.49 to $7.29.

Tips for Getting Your DOLE Whip at Disneyland

  • Mobile order or queue smart: At some locations, you can order via the Disneyland app, helping you bypass the line while you wrangle your stroller/kid. I ordered via the app to pick up mine at Tiki Juice Bar.

  • Seek shade or grab a seat: Adventureland in Anaheim gets warm in the hotter months. The Tropical Hideaway has seating and a little more room to sit down.

  • Flavor upgrade: If you’ve had the classic pineapple a million times, head to Tropical Hideaway and try something twisty (mango/strawberry swirl) or the limited Pineapple Upside Down Sundae or Peach Sundae version (recently $9.29) for a “special treat” moment. Keep in mind that these are seasonal.

  • Sharing option: To be honest, the Dole Whip is kind of small already. If you’re pregnant and watching sugar, share the regular size with your partner or toddler — it still feels indulgent.

  • Best “cool-down” treat time: Afternoon after rides, before fireworks. But you can't go wrong eating it whenever.

  • Mind dietary needs: Since DOLE Whip is dairy-free/gluten-free, it’s a good snack for friends with those restrictions.

Why It’s Worth It

  • It’s iconic: When you mention you’re at Disneyland, DOLE Whip is the treat people picture.

  • It’s light enough: Compared to heavy desserts, this feels more tropical-fresh.

  • It’s versatile: Whether you’re staying in-park for rides or popping in for a quick snack break, DOLE Whip fits both.

Final Bite

When you step into Disneyland’s Adventureland and see that Tropical Hideaway sign, you’re not just grabbing a snack. You’re buying a moment of escape. One spoonful of pineapple soft-serve, the ambient jungle drift from Jungle Cruise, your kid cheering, the sun dipping. It’s three minutes of “vacation magic” that recharge better than coffee in that moment. And at a price point that’s on par for the park-life hustle; I think it's kind of pricy for the amount that you get, but if you're at Disneyland for a once-in-a-lifetime trip, you have to get it..

So next time you’re mapping out your Disneyland snack stops, slot in DOLE Whip. Then take that first swirl and smile. Part of DOLE Whip’s charm is how simple it is. Unlike the deep-fried churros or decadent Monte Cristos, this snack is light, fruity, and genuinely refreshing.

Cold Brew Black Caf at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo at Disneyland

When you’re wandering the bustling outpost of Batuu in Disneyland’s Galaxy’s Edge, you’ll find all sorts of intergalactic treats to fuel your long journey. From Ronto Wraps to blue milk, there’s no shortage of playful, flavorful, and colorful options. But if you’re seeking a captivating coffee that's both energizing and whimsical, let me introduce you to the Cold Brew Black Caf at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo. It’s part pick-me-up, part dessert. This viral drink is much beloved, so you may be wondering how it tastes.

This isn’t just a coffee, it's something you have to experience. Imagine sipping your cold brew topped with a sweet cream cheese cloud and crunchy chocolate puffs that look like they’ve traveled across the galaxy to land in your cup. That’s the magic of the Black Caf. Just make sure to ask for a spoon as you pick up your order.

Cold Brew Black Caf at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo at Disneyland Carmen Varner food writer

What Exactly Is the Cold Brew Black Caf?

At first glance, the Black Caf Cold Brew from Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo looks like something you might find served in a cantina far, far away. Beneath the surface, it starts with potent cold brew coffee. Then, instead of your standard splash of cream or drizzle of syrup, this one gets an upgrade: a fluffy layer of sweet cream cheese topping that’s just tangy enough to keep things interesting. Finally, the pièce de résistance are the crispy chocolate puffs (Cocoa Puffs or some knock off, it's hard to say) scattered on top for a bit of crunch and a whole lot of charm.

If you’re picturing Cocoa Puffs floating over a coffee cloud, you’re not too far off. And honestly, that’s half the fun. It’s coffee that doesn’t take itself too seriously, yet still delivers the caffeine boost you need to keep exploring Batuu. People are obsessed with this drink on TikTok.

Price and Where to Find the Coffee at Disneyland

You’ll find the Cold Brew Black Caf on the lunch and dinner menu at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo, the quick-service spot designed to feel like a working hangar bay in the heart of Galaxy’s Edge.

As of late 2025, the Cold Brew Black Caf rings in at around $7.79. Yes, it’s pricier than your average iced coffee outside the park. You’re not just paying for caffeine, you’re paying for a full Star Wars-themed moment. Plus, in the grand scheme of theme park dining, this one feels like a fairly reasonable splurge. If you have a Magic Key Pass, then you can get a discount. Check out the Docking Bay menu on the Disneyland website.

Tasting Notes

Take that first sip and you’ll notice the cold brew base has a solid backbone. It’s strong enough to hold its own against the toppings, that is, when it's not blended with the topper. The coffee is smooth and bold, without being too bitter. Then the sweet cream cheese topping comes through, adding a velvety richness that turns your sip into something dessert-like. It's sweet but not cloying, and you get a hint of cocoa-y sweetness from the puffs as well.

The Flavor Combo - How Sweet Is It?

The best way to describe the taste is to imagine a mash-up between a creamy iced coffee and a bite of cheesecake, with the occasional crunch of chocolate cereal. The sweetness is balanced. You don’t get the syrupy sugar bomb of a flavored latte, but it’s definitely sweeter than a plain cold brew.

Related reading: Review of Harbour Galley Disneyland Chocolate Chip Cookies. Read about the sweets here.

Texture Play

Here’s where the Cold Brew Black Caf really shines. The layers of texture keep things interesting. You’ve got the cool coffee, the fluffy cream cheese topping that slowly descends into the drink, and then the crispy chocolate puffs that bring just enough crunch to make you grin. It’s the kind of drink that makes you want to sip slowly and enjoy every oddball, delicious combination of flavors. But then again, it's easy and quick to finish.

Cold Brew Black Caf at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo at Disneyland Carmen Varner food writer

Tips for Drinking the Cold Brew Black Caf

  • Mix it up (or don’t): Some people like to stir the cream cheese topping into the coffee to blend everything together. Others prefer to sip it as-is, enjoying that fun contrast of tangy cream and strong coffee in each mouthful. Either way works! I've seen and heard of people doing both.

  • Watch the puffs: The chocolate puffs start out crunchy, but they soften the longer they sit in the drink. If you like the crunch factor, snack on them early. Grab a spoon!

  • Ask for no ice: Want a stronger coffee flavor and fewer floating puffs? Order it without ice. It won’t look as picture-perfect, but you won't have to fish out the puffs from the similarly-shaped ice pieces.

  • Use a spoon: If you don’t want to chase chocolate puffs around with your straw, a spoon can come in handy. Think of it as part-drink, part-snack.

Why It’s Worth Trying

The Cold Brew Black Caf isn’t just another iced coffee; it’s a piece of Disney magic in a cup. It takes something familiar (coffee) and adds an imaginative twist that makes it memorable. Even if you’re not usually into sweet coffee drinks, this one is worth a try for the sheer novelty and the experience of enjoying something so playful in such an immersive setting. I wouldn't say it's my favorite coffee, but it's worth trying once.

It’s also a fantastic option if you need a caffeine boost in the middle of your Disneyland day but want something more exciting than a standard coffee. Plus, it’s just plain fun to say you had a cold brew topped with cream cheese and chocolate puffs in a galaxy far, far away.

Final Thoughts on the Cold Brew Black Caf from Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo

It’s equal parts coffee, dessert, and snack, making it a perfect choice for adventurous eaters, Instagrammers hunting for that perfect food shot, or anyone who just needs a refreshing jolt of caffeine.

So next time you’re at Disneyland, carve out a moment to stop by Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo and order the Cold Brew Black Caf. Whether you’re fueling up before piloting the Millennium Falcon or just looking for a whimsical treat to enjoy in the Batuu sun, this galactic coffee adventure is sure to put a smile on your face.

  • Crushed chocolate crème-filled cookies (I'm assuming Oreo crumbles, but it could be an off-brand, too)

  • The price (as of fall 2025) is $7.59. In 2024, it cost $7.29. Magic Key holders can receive a small discount based on the tier.

  • Availability: Seasonal/Halloween food Disneyland (not always year-round—check Disney Parks Blog for the current run dates).

Setting the Stage: Galactic Grill’s Location and Vibe

Imagine this: you’re in the heart of Tomorrowland, surrounded by gleaming space-age architecture and whirring attractions. Just steps away from Space Mountain and the Astro Orbitor, Galactic Grill beckons with sci-fi charm and a menu split between Light Side-ish sandwiches and Dark Side-worthy desserts. It’s a perfect place to sit down and refuel, especially if you have a spot in the shade on a particularly hot day. It was over 90 degrees when I ate my Darth by Chocolate at the end of August.

Other Popular Items at Galactic Grill

While Darth by Chocolate steals the spotlight during Halloween, Galactic Grill serves up other tasty offerings to suit all tastes:

  • Sandwiches and Burgers: Think cheeseburgers and fries. Classic quick-service fare with Tomorrowland flair.

  • Seasonal Savories: In recent Halloween food Disneyland seasons, they’ve offered items like the Haunted Hound Dog (all-beef hot dog with bacon, fried onions) and Chile Pepper Burger with ghost-pepper salsa. Items may vary year to year, but Disneyland will often bring back highly coveted items, Darth by Chocolate included.

  • Festive Drinks and Treats: The Bloody Orange Slushy with raspberry drizzle and the Iced Pumpkin Pie Chai Latte with pumpkin-pie cold foam are show-stoppers from fall menus

Drawing From My TikTok Vibe

When I shared Darth by Chocolate on TikTok, I captured that “oh-wow” moment when you first see the red velvet sponge layers peeking through. It’s chocolate-pudding heaven with a red velvet and mousse twist. Those cookie crumbs really bring it home and bring a mild crunch to the otherwise soft treat.

Final Thoughts on the Halloween Food from Disneyland

Whether you’re battling Space Mountain’s long lines or breezing through with Lightning Lane, the Darth by Chocolate parfait is ideal for those of us who have a sweet tooth. It is a flavor powerhouse of chocolate, red velvet, mousse, and cookie crunch. It’s a Disneyland legend that has come back for a couple of years now.

Timing is everything, though. This treat doesn’t stick around year-round. Mobile order early or plan your day around it.

Pros: Perfectly layered, indulgent, thematic, portable

Cons: Seasonal, high-demand, limited availability windows, very sweet

If you’re craving an other-worldly dessert that tastes as epic as it looks, this one deserves top billing on your Tomorrowland menu. May the dessert be with you!

Trying the Tiramisu Cold Brew from Troubadour Tavern at Disneyland

If you like a tasty coffee drink during your Disneyland stroll, then I have a treat for you! The new Tiramisu Cold Brew from Troubadour Tavern at Disneyland is a marvelous blend of cold brew and dessert. This little gem combines bold cold brew, sweet creamy topping, and a ladyfinger cookie into one of the tastiest coffee drinks in the park, if you prefer earthy, not-too-sweet flavors.

Picture of the Tiramisu Cold Brew from Troubadour Tavern at Disneyland with hand holding cup

What is the Tiramisu Cold Brew?

On the menu for $7.29, the Tiramisu Cold Brew starts with a base of dark chocolate cold brew. As a fair warning, this isn't a sugary drink. If you don't like the earthiness of cocoa powder, this isn't for you either. I've seen some discourse on TikTok about how it is bitter and that bitterness comes from the cocoa powder. I find that it's evened out by the luscious richness of the foam.

It's not too sweet, not too bitter. It’s topped with a light, fluffy tiramisu-style foam that brings in those rich dessert vibes without being heavy. Oh, and there’s a little ladyfinger cookie resting on top. It’s adorable, crunchy, and yes, totally dunkable.

How does the Tiramisu Cold Brew taste?

This drink hits the spot. The cold brew itself has a rich, slightly chocolatey depth, and the topper adds a soft, mascarpone-like creaminess with a hefty amount of cocoa. Make sure to swirl it in for a smooth, blended drink. This is an important step to enjoying it! It’s refreshing and way more exciting than your usual iced coffee or other popular beverages like the Cold Brew Black Caf from Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo.

Picture of Tiramisu Cold Brew from Troubadour Tavern at Disneyland with close up of eaten ladyfinger cookie

What makes it special?

It’s the kind of treat that feels extra without being over-the-top. The ladyfinger cookie gives it a playful, dessert-like touch, and the tiramisu topper adds just enough decadence to make this feel like a coffee shop dessert, but in Disneyland style, of course. It’s also super photogenic if you're into that sort of thing.

Where to find the Tiramisu Cold Brew?

You can grab the Tiramisu Cold Brew at Troubadour Tavern, which is located right by the Fantasyland Theatre. It’s a quieter corner of the park that’s easy to overlook, but now you’ve got a reason to swing by. Here’s the official Disney page.

Final Thoughts: Is it worth it?

I mean, it's a coffee that costs over $7, so once you get over the initial sticker shock, I think it's worth it. A lot of drinks are pricy these days, whether you get them at Starbucks or your local coffee shop. If you're craving a cold, caffeinated pick-me-up with a little flair, this one’s a solid choice.

It’s great for coffee fans, sweet tooths, or anyone who wants something different from the usual themed drinks. It’s not super sugary, and the creamy topping makes it feel like a treat and a drink. I’d totally get it again, especially on a hot day when you need that boost before your next ride.

Costco's food court has a few options, allowing members to grab a quick bite to eat. You can order at the self-serve kiosk or in person. It doesn't really matter. The simplicity of the menu is a big part of its allure because you don't have to pick from hundreds of menu items. No frills, no muss, no fuss—just a handful of reliable items that most are familiar with. And while the food court is beloved in the U.S., international Costco locations put their own spin on things. In South Korea, you’ll find bulgogi bakes. Heading north to Canada? There's poutine, of course.

Costco’s food court menu items remains one of the best deals around. And it’s not just about the iconic $1.50 hot dog combo anymore, although it's a staple choice. While the classics are still going strong, the menu has expanded to include heartier options like the rotisserie chicken Caesar salad, a toasted turkey and provolone sandwich, and even a surprisingly satisfying chicken bake.

Harbour Galley Disneyland Chocolate Chip Cookies

I had seen several videos on TikTok about the chocolate chip cookies from Harbour Galley at Disneyland. So, when I visited with my family, and the choice was between a churro and the cookies, we opted for the cookies -- simply because we’ve had the churro and wanted to try something new.

Are the cookies even good?

If you like a freshly baked cookie, this will certainly be right up your alley. It’s hard to go wrong with a tasty cookie, so as a food writer and home cook, I can safely say these are pretty good cookies. Obviously, if you find yourself a chocolate chip cookie connoisseur, you might have some different thoughts.

Here’s the thing about Harbour Galley’s chocolate chip cookies: they’re not trying to be the dessert that changes your life. They’re not dressed up with sprinkles or drizzled in sea salt caramel.

These are small cookies served in a paper bag/tray type of thing. They are served warm, which makes you feel like you baked them yourself, and they came right out of the oven. The Disneyland chocolate chip cookies come in a pack of six or a pack of 13. If you have more people in your party or you want to take some home, get the 13-pack because the cookies are small anyway.

Harbour Galley Disneyland Chocolate Chip Cookies Carmen Varner prices location

Like a lot of baked goods, these are best when fresh. Like, eat them right away. When you get them, they have a slightly crisp exterior that is buttery and rich, while the interior remains soft and doughy. They have a good amount of chocolate chips, which I consider a good thing.

If you’ve ever had a cookie that has gaps without the chocolate chips, then you don’t have to worry when eating these. You got a chocolate nibble with each bite. The pack of six is perfect to share with two people, so you get three each, but you can share with more if you’d like.

Where to Find the Disneyland Chocolate Chip Cookies

How to Order the Harbour Galley Cookies

I recommend doing a mobile order. Ordering from the Disneyland app is great because the line can get pretty long, even in the middle of the day on a Wednesday. When you mobile order on the app, you can select an arrival time, so this can eliminate a lot of standing in line.

Disneyland Chocolate Chip Cookie Prices

Fresh-baked Chocolate Chip Cookies are available in a 6-pack for $7.79 or a 13-pack for $13.79, while supplies last. They have gone up $1 since I originally wrote this article in April 2025!

If you’re the type who loves a snack that doesn’t require a reservation, a secret map, or a scavenger hunt to find, this is your treat. Mobile order if you see a line (trust me, they’re best eaten still warm), grab a shady spot, and enjoy the magic of a cookie that’s as straightforward as it is satisfying.

Harbour Galley Disneyland Chocolate Chip Cookies Carmen Varner prices location

There is a Reddit thread about the Harbour Galley Disneyland cookies and how they didn't live up to the hype, and I can understand that sentiment. I don't usually think things live up to the hype either, so I try to go into things with a fresh mindset. Again, don't sit around and waste your day at Disneyland waiting in line. Put in an order and pick it up instead.

It's just a cookie; it's not revolutionary. Disneyland didn't use any special, magical ingredients. So, if you go into it thinking it's something magnificent, you will be disappointed. It's a good cookie, not the world's best cookie.

But that all said, I think it's worth trying if you have a sweet tooth while you're at the park.

While there are plenty of foods, drinks, and snacks to pick from, the churros at Disneyland stand out as an absolute crowd-pleaser. You can find churros at Disneyland Resort throughout the park. New Holiday-Season Churros for Late 2025

Starting November 14, 2025 and running through January 7, 2026, Disneyland is offering a fresh lineup of seasonal churros you’ll want to know about: an apple-pie version on Main Street, the strawberry “Straw-batty” churro in Frontierland, a gingerbread-sugar version in Fantasyland, a bacon-maple “Breakfast Churro” in Tomorrowland, plus special versions in Disney California Adventure (Carrot-Cake Churro and Apple-Pie Churro).

These additions are in limited time windows, so if you’re visiting during the holidays and want the latest flavors, plan accordingly.

Also, as these are seasonal, they may not be available outside this holiday window — always double-check when you arrive.

The churros are definitely on the the most classic items to get while you're there. It helps that you can find them all throughout the park, so you don't have to go to one place to pick one up.
